cough cough....I'm back

Hey y'all
So....I think an update is in order...sorry for the delay...
I've been um....what's the word.....distracted. Yea. By my job. Right.

Anyways....life is good....I've been dating Jenny for a month now....and that month went by really fast. If I had to guess I'd say there was maybe three days this whole month we didn't meet up to study or eat or go to a movie or something.
My workout time and facebook time have suffered the most under the new regime. But that's ok.

And talk about bad timing to start dating someone....In the first 3 weeks I had valentines day and her birthday....and then bonus...next week is "white day" in Korea. Which is basically valentines day again, but only boys have to do the giving.

For her birthday we did a bunch of things....but you can see in the picture I made her dinner. Korea guys must be pretty unromantic, because making her dinner, buying her a birthday present, taking her to a nice restaurant were like mind blowingly nice....

Anyway, I mentioned Jenny's Mom.....so I'll tell that story and then go to the weight room.....um...so Korean mothers are special....you must remember that Jenny is 25 and has a daughter ok? But he Mom still phones her like everynight....when are you coming home? Are you still alive? That kinda thing. Wouldn't happen in Canada that's for sure. But then again, our families don't live all together like they do here.

But anyway....Jenny wanted to come to Seoul with Kyle, Amy, and I and her Mom was afraid cause there's a murderer in Seoul or something(?). As an aside...her Mom really pushed her to marry Captain Moron for the same reason...she was worried about her living alone in Seoul at the time. Anyhoo.....she told her Mom too bad, she was going to Seoul with us....and so then, as an exchange, I had to meet her. Haha. It was special.

A little nervous...cause she doesn't speak English at all. My Korean was ok....and Jenny translated the rest. She loved that I worked in a church, and that I had given Jenny an easy Korean translation/The Message bible...and she liked it so much, I had to get her one as well. So bonus points for me on that one.

And today I am meeting all of her friends after work...and they don't speak English at all....so good luck to me. Yikes.
