So after about ten days of intense photoshoping (and some avoidance of the mass of pictures thrown in for good measure) I have finally finished editing Sora's engagement pictures which turned out to be wedding pictures with full out dress and all.
I was quite happy with my first time attempting such a project, and I delivered the pictures yesterday and she saw them and also was extremely pleased. I had two worries before starting a) Not being in Victoria b) Not having a flash/artificial light. Turns out neither one was a massive problem. I scouted rather extensively and it turns out City Hall near my house is the prettiest place around here. All the pictures (except on the street) are from there. Check out a slideshow here -->
Oh and Brownies? I was getting sick of the crap baking that is Korean bakeries, so I decided it high time to show the girlfriend how it was done. Jenny was in shock when one of my friends made a birthday cake for someone's birthday. So I thought it was time for another jolt. I don't have measuring cups and I don't have an oven, or a pan....and it was still better than the bakeries here. What does that tell you Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours??
Jenny was super cute "what?!? this is delicious! Not possible! Normal people can't make this!" So she made a second batch and wouldn't let me help. Never thought I'd teach my girlfriend to bake...
Wow four blogs in like a week....look at me go

Hey, now you can be your own baker!!! Hahahahahaha...whew,, that was a good one, eh?
Congrats on the brownies! Didja wear the big poofy white hat and everything?
Now Jennie knows that Tim Horton isn't the only Canadian male who knows his way around the bakery!
Way to go Matt! When you come home you'll have to show Jenny how it's really done - with a pan and an oven!
Looking forward to seeing you again. Take care!

Haha. Perfect usage of the baker joke. Nice work. We had a crisis though....batch number 3 wasn't so good...now she's depressed... haha
I wish I had an oven Laura...wow that would be nice. You'll have to show her when I come back :)
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not the be my own baker joke! That's never going to die is it?
(although even I have to admit, that was the perfect usage Uncle Bill)
