I heartily enjoyed learning Dutch Animal sounds back in the day.....so I thought I would share some of the sounds that Korean animals make as well, for kicks....and they are amazing. I selflessly donated another hour to handcrafting a pictoral companion to this post...aren't I great.....without further adieu:
Chick: Bee-yuk Bee-yuk
Dog: Mung-mung or wol-wol
Cow: O-meeeh
Pig: Gul Gul
Horse: Hi-hing
Tiger and Lion: Ohung
Frog: gagel gagel
Cat: Yowng yowng
Rooster: Gokee-o
Bird: Jack Jack
Old Macdonald will never be the same

That is so funny!
Your depiction of what the animals sound like make our North American version seem so tame, so blah. I mean, c'mon, 'gagel gagel'?! That's no 'ribet'...
Nice graphic, too. Your inner artist is showing.
This morning as I type LC is making noises of her own as she lies in the living room, waiting impatiently for SOMEONE to take her for a walk. Mostly sighing sounds, then the odd passing of wind, just to mix things up a little.
As someone we all know would say, 'GTs', eh?
Nice.
In Vietnamese chickens go: "koo koo koo"
Dogs go "wow wow wow"
Pigs go "ot ot ot"
haha.
Ot ot is pretty sweet. Dutch pigs go knorr knorr
My favourite Dutch one is cows....they booooo. Horses hinnik...that's cool too.
I wish I could take LC for a walk right now on the west coast...that would be nice....I'll pass on the wind passing though
Hi!
Just like Uncle Bill, my favourite was the frogs going "gagel gagel". If only I could pronounce those names, I'd use them for my "light-hearted moment" in my Seniors' Exercise Class. (And, Lear, no fair if you're reading this, too!)
I also love the "Dutch pigs" -(oops, that doesn't sound good!)- saying "Knorr, Knorr". Isn't Piglet a "Knorr-je" or something like that?
Time to get to work!
Mom
yea, piglet is knorretje....little oink...haha.
If you want light hearted, you have permission to use any number of my stupid falling/maiming myself stories...:)
